About Me
The first thing to know about me, and in the interest of full transparency, my real name is not Paige. Paige M. Richard is the pen name I have chosen. I made the decision not to publish under my actual name for many reasons, but the primary reason is because I highly value privacy for myself and my family. While the name is not really mine, it is a title that strikes a chord of pride with me. Any other information I provide will be true, but my identity is one thing I will keep to myself.
I live in a small farming and ranching town in Texas with my wonderful husband and stepdaughter. We just recently moved into our forever home which sits in the middle of what used to be pasture. Our tiny piece of paradise is surrounded by family and cattle, and we absolutely love it.
I am a new author, but I have been a lifetime reader. As a matter of fact, my little sister used to tease me by calling me a book nerd, and it is a title I have always been proud to hold. Books are where I have found some of my favorite people and places, and I have always dreamed of sharing people and places of my own with the world.
While I enjoy reading and writing immensely, I do have a job I love that takes up a majority of my hours during the day. I commute about forty-five minutes to work each day and work for anywhere from eleven to thirteen hours. The company I work for is absolutely amazing, and I get to meet so many great people while still having the flexibility to read, and now write, in my down time.
When I have a day off, I love spending time with my husband. He also works long hours, and we spend any amount of free time we can together. We really enjoy relaxing at home, but every now and then we will make a quick trip to the Katy area where we like to shop, or take time to visit San Antonio, one of our favorite Texas cities.
I truly look forward to this new adventure of becoming a published author and all the challenges that are sure to come with it. Please feel free to send any questions you may have to info@authorpaigemrichard.com and I will do my best to answer.
